Heat kitchen appliance to 220C/200C fan/gas seven. Pat chips dry on room paper, then lay during a single layer on an outsized baking receptacle. Drizzle with 0.5 the oil and season with salt. Cook for forty minutes, turning once twenty minutes, so that they cook equally.
